This was such a wonderful opportunity to do a traditional Hindu
wedding here in the heart of Texas for such genuinely amazing people, separated only by great distance and culture, but now one joyous, international family! The bride and groom live in New York,
the ranch was in Texas, the bride’s mom in India, so I worked nearly solely with the groom’s talented mother here in Fredericksburg as we readied their family ranch site for the celebration. I brought in a series of 5 tents to better fit the site. With oriental rugs on the ground, great bursts of deep colors and fragrances
of rose, orchids, lilies and hydrangea, we set the spaces of ceremony, Raj bar, dining and hexagonal ballroom tent in fragrant color and ambient drum shade and tent spot lighting.
We made the ceremonial mandap based on a picture the bride
loved with strands of crystal that were laced with rose petals the day of the wedding.
Here their elaborate wedding
garlands lie on ottomans
prior to the service.

Loved doing this lovely Hindu wedding deep in the heart of Texas. We brought in everything including tents, hundreds of stems of flowers, custom draping, bars, lighting, furniture, event design and direction. The bride was beautiful, the toasts and music wonderful and everywhere you looked it was evident the great care, beauty and love that went into this mixing of the two great cultures, viewpoints, worlds.
